Deadly sweater weather.
Better than a suit of armor.
Speak after midnight.
Raise your spirits, sultan’s daughter.
The age of three colored fire,
promethean with a lighter,
good wine and silver nights
like them rivers running out.
You could be a sieve or a source of clean energy.
You might turn the world around. I believe in you more than me.
Whenever it’s raining,
mythical waves hit a distant beach.
The fold of a wing, shade of dress
changed it all
but I don’t know what it means.
This could be a dream we share, or a little bit more spooky.
Without a doubt it’s preternatural, the ways you put it on me.
Fits much better than a suit of armor.

I want change.
I want to change
but I want you, too.
If not by moonlight,
if not by sunlight
then, soon.

I was waiting on a ridge for a signal in the sky
while a figure on the bridge tried to change my mind.
I was thinking, “A blood moon is hard to find.”
As I was thinking the blood moon began to shine.
Climbing down the hill, had something in my eye,
like I’d been staring at the sun or gazing in a fire.
I was under the red star. I was feeling fine:
pretty little flower, horses with stripes.
We all wanted to quit our jobs,
become lemon people chilling by the pond
with the water rats
and the confetti and the ghosts of our past
in a rowboat going by.
Then we performed our trick so we would never die.
A team of sleepy foxes pioneering down the line.
We hopped into the black car. Who was good to drive?
You good to drive?

remember dever?
flame of sky is that horizon.
stealth and dex.
I'm busy writing--to you, it would be fine (but)
lyrics on the cover
to kill a mockingbird
or me.
secret days. I miss driving when I hated it.
all of those ponds.
how do I get back there?
stairwell: get well soon I guess.
hang out? out of feelings for the time now.
high above a river, mid of autumn, chill emotionless..
with a haircut
you're a different person.

Trading shirts at Camp Firewood.
You and me. This is everybody.
On a Friday night, after nine. You and me
and the heads of all the boys you’ve liked.
Escape from the basement, tell me about your dress and skin.
Staring deep discovery: irides blue and swollen.
"Oh, you’re funny."
"It wouldn’t be a party without you)."
Why did I kiss Missy Robinson? What a wild imagination!
Why did I kiss Missy Robinson? Another great blonde shark circling.
Is it OK if we don’t touch? You’ll catch whatever I have.
If I’m not back we must be at war.
Faster than animals. Feels like knives.
Silver waves every night..
The sword in your heart shore your decades long hair. Went to the moon and back. Green London morning, watching JAWS on the island. How’d it happen so fast?
Picking daisies, night of Saturnalia.
Friends swim out the creek.
There’s somewhere I want to take you.
Levitated driving rain (they’re coming in)

take a walk around the block tonight
past the place where the world becomes just light
through the gate of the graveyard:
the moon she shows her fangs
if you don't have a better place to be
my friend left me the key to his parents pool..
meet me at Live Oak Park,
I'll let you drive my car.
put on dry clothes in some parking lot.
wasn't feeling so hot that night.
2AM on some smokey late july.
played host of the evening.
that weekend everyone got fucked.
if you don't have a reason to say no
Griffith's Field is one place we could go;
what moves at forest's edge..?
you run on tennis legs.
if you bring a friend, I'll bring a friend.
